Q1: Terry, what were the primary challenges you encountered when you relocated your family and your business, to not only a different city, but an entirely new country?
A1: Well as a family it was an exciting new chapter for us, and that of course has it’s own challenges, but in terms of relocating a business to a new country, where do you start. You are basically starting a new company and it really did feel like we were starting from square one. The main hurdle was establishing our brand and attracting customers in a highly competitive market where we had absolutely no friends, family or customers.
Q2: How did Galaxy Website Design’s impact Lion Removals’ ability to reach customers in Dumfries & Galloway?
A2: Galaxy really knew their stuff and to be honest they played a crucial role. Firstly they designed a website that looked fantastic and showed off what we do brilliantly. They then started running a local SEO campaign for us in the Dumfries and Galloway area. Within just a few weeks we could see some keywords appearing on Google page one. If I remember correctly our first website enquiry came in from Google in the first week of the second month. Quite frankly, I was not expecting it to be that quick. Dom who ran the campaign was adamant that we realise it would only be within 90 days before we get an enquiry because of how new the website and our business was here, but luckily he was wrong, it was within the first thirty to forty days.
Q3: So it’s been about a year and six months since your website went live Terry. Tell me, what results have you seen from partnering with Galaxy Website Design during this time?
A3: It’s been awesome. Our website is definitely the main source of customer enquiries alongside the referrals we also get. We’ve firmly established ourselves as one of the go to removal company in Dumfries & Galloway.
